Nearly 3,000 victims of 9/11 don’t show up as dead in Social Security records

WASHINGTON — A New York congresswoman who represents Manhattan wants answers to why nearly 3,000 victims of the 9/11 terrorists attacks weren’t reported in the Social Security Administration’s official list of deceased Americans.
Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-N.Y., said her staff started making inquiries after the errors in the federal Death Master File (DMF) were detected by Scripps Howard News Service. The file is a public record intended to protect families of the deceased from identity theft and other types of fraud.
“While nearly 3,000 individuals were killed on Sept. 11th, the list does not show an increase in numbers from the typical DMF daily average,” Maloney said. “A sampling of those names did not yield any matches in the DMF and confirms their apparent absence.”
She said her staff has contacted the Social Security Administration, the New York State Department of Health and the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, only to receive “conflicting answers as to why there is a lack of reporting on this matter.”

The SSA keeps a list of people who died after they started collecting Social Security. The 911 victims (at least those who died on September 11, 2001 – not the million plus who have been murdered since then) were working at the time and not collecting Social Security payments, so they are not in the database.
Wrong. Any person who is issued a Social Security number (and that’s anyone who is a US citizen or a legal resident alien) is listed in the data base when deceased regardless of benefit status or age.
no, not all U.S. citizens have SSNs. You have to apply for one. If you don’t, then you don’t get one. There is no requirement to have a number simply because you exist. It is always in connection with some benefit from government that you need to have one.
99.9% of the legal population has a SS# – unless you live on the side of a remote mountain you have been pressured into getting one – usually given at birth now days. I would sincerely like to know how to give it BACK !
You haven’t had any children recently, have you? Because if you had, you’d know better than to say this:
“There is no requirement to have a number simply because you exist.”
You’re dealing with bureaucrats. Don’t expect a quick or accurate answer.

Incorrect, the social security death index lists everyone who died who had a SS#, not only those collecting SS.

James….I was wondering when someone would bring this up!! I should have been a detective. My FIRST thought was WHY? Surely some of the victims were getting some kind of SS# check. Are they still going out to SOMEONE? Did ‘someone’ have a need for those numbers? (O-Bomb-a )?
Wouldn’t it be nice if someone dug down deep on this one?? I don’t buy the bureaucrat bit.

The Master SS# Death List is where any SS# that has been issued goes to have the number listed. It has nothing to do with benefits.
Like I said initially, if you dont know the same criminals own the Mass Media, Federal Reserve, Hollywood, Israel, Pornography and Gambling Industry etc… then you are a very small and lost fool.

Maybe 911 was a convenient media event, designed to get congress to sign off and the Patriot Act to improve the tax collection infrastructure. And the WTO owner got away clean with the insurance money.
Bingo! Think of how many benefited in many different HUGE ways from 9/11. Sock bets, Gold, property insurance, buried gov. skeletons, destroyed frraud investigations records, burned files of Pentagon ‘missing’ trillions. etc etc etc.
Of the BS numbers of deaths that day, that means that about 100 people DID get filed as deceased. This is no small ‘mistake’.
There is no magical way that a name automatically makes it on to the list. Generally, returned mail by the post office, notifications by funeral directors, some government databases and inquiries by relatives are the way it is compiled. It is quite complete for those over sixty-five but generally very spotty for those not receiving benefits at the time of death. SS death index records for those who died without reaching retirement age may be spotty, but shouldn’t we presume that those who were parents of underage children should have started showing up by ten years later? After all, when a parent dies, their underage child is entitled to a social security death benefit. Are we to presume that NO surviving parent chose to file for benefits for their child?
A death notice goes to the DMF via many routes (funeral homes, postal authorities, relatives of the deceased, financial institutions, and computer files provided to SSA from a variety of government agencies). In 1997, the DMF recorded 74.2% of deaths for those between the ages of 25-54. The fact that the DMF daily average didn’t spike for September 11, 2001 is proof that that the 3,000 persons said killed WEREN’T!

The comprehensive analysis of the bizarre and incongruous 9/11 memorials overwhelmingly suggests that the alleged “victims” of the day were nothing but fictitious, digital identities generated out of a computer database. 9/11 was not conducted by war-hungry hawks. It was conducted by policymakers as a response to the fake collapse of the USSR in 1991. The ‘War on Terror’ is a cover for the on-going Cold War.
There are other questions that should be asked.
How did WTC7 collapse from a few small fires?
How did the ‘dancing Israelis” caught filming the event KNOW there would be an event?

You’ve heard the expression “Kill two birds with one stone” Well, the 9/11 event was “Kill many birds with a few stones” The clean-up of asbestos alone in the WTC bldgs. was estimated to cost billions of dollars and thousands of lay-offs and would basically shut down commerce if they tried to clean up the WTC in a traditional way. you see, the WTC bldgs. were in violation of health risks according to EPA standards. Plus, Cheney’s Haliburton was the liable party and this was a fact way before 9/11 ever happened. So. The Port Authority, who controlled the WTC complex at the time, had to find another way to clean up (pun intended) because they couldn’t afford it not to mention other political factors that played a part in the 9/11 fix all. They turned the plan over to the military and voila! No one is liable for what took place. Not Haliburton for their asbestos, not the Bushes for their rush to bomb Iraq, Silverstein and his buddies in Israel, get their war on Iraq too and several billion to boot from the insurance. To “Them” it was an all around win-win situation. They use media illusions to make things appear the way they want and the masses of asses believe them, no questions asked. And we haven’t even touched upon bldg. 7 or the Pentagon.

I suspect all those videos of people falling out of buildings were computer generated and connected with the Israeli students using the WTC for their art project some time before 9/11. This was discussed by Jay Weidner on Rense radio earlier this year. Those Israeli students were filmed by a helicopter falling stark naked off a parapet/balcony/window from the WTC.
