Foreign Ministry says Norwegian authorities funding anti-Israel film, exhibition, and play. Norway: We support freedom of expression

Serious diplomatic conflict: Israel is accusing the Norwegian government of funding and encouraging blatant anti-Israel incitement.
According to reports received by the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem, the Trondheim Municipality is funding a trip to New York for students taking part in the “Gaza Monologues” play, which “deals with the suffering of children in Gaza as a result of the Israeli occupation.”
The play, written by a Palestinian from Gaza, will be presented at the United Nations headquarters. It joins an exhibition by a Norwegian artists displayed in Damascus, Beirut, and Amman, with the help of Norway’s embassies in Syria,Lebanon, and Jordan.
The exhibition shows killed Palestinian babies next to Israel Defense Forces helmets, which are reminiscent of Nazi soldiers’ helmets, and an Israeli flag drenched in blood.
The Norwegians are also helping the distribution of a documentary film called “Tears of Gaza” to festivals across the world. According to the Foreign Ministry, the film deals with the suffering of Gaza’s children as well, without mentioning Hamas, the rockets fired at Israel, and Israel’s right to defend itself.
The film shows Gazans chanting, “Itbah al-Yahud,” but the Norwegian translation says “slaughter the Israelis” instead of “slaughter the Jews”.
In addition, a book written by two Norwegian doctors who were the only foreigners in Gaza to give interviews during Operation Cast Lead was published recently. The book, which accuses IDF soldiers of deliberately killing women and children, is a bestseller in Norway and has been warmly recommended by none other than Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
The Israeli Embassy in Norway strongly protested the authorities’ involvement in Israel’s demonization. “The open and official Norwegian policy talks about understanding and reconciliation,” a senior Israeli official said Sunday evening, “but ever since the war in Gaza, Norway has become a superpower in terms of exporting multimedia aimed at de-legitimizing Israel, while using the Norwegian taxpayer funds for creating and transporting this multimedia.”

I, at first, was shocked when I was checking the news today and saw what had happened in Norway. My first thought was Islamic Terrorists, and I still believe that. The Norwegian who killed the youth was probably a homegrown terrorist, possibly a muslim convert. I knew nothing of Norway till today. Then, I started learning. Then I found out how against Israel and Jews, how disgustingly anti-semitic Norway is. I have noticed a pattern, whenever countries lately exhibit anti-Jew behavior, natural disasters happen, sometimes not so natural. Now I can’t help but think that God has allowed this to happen to Norway because of Norways disrespect of God’s Holy People. Miracles still happen. Prophecies still happen. The prophecies of the bible and Gods wrath still happens.

When I heard this had happened today I looked up the relationship between Israel and Norway and found ow anti semetic they are.I believe God has lifted his blessing and Jesus is coming back soon. Hal, I was wandering the other day after the killing of “Innocent Children” in Oslo, How does Norway contribute to the International comunity. I was looking to see if anyone at my work place in British Columbia Canada, knows what is made in Norway. No one knew anything about this frigide country of yours nor did they care. Norway was just another place that no one cared about. Now, when we talk about Israel at work (just a little warehouse) then everyone comes to life. Woke up this morning with the horrifying news that the death toll, of children alone, was near 90. my heart goes to all people in Norway. While I have never been to Norway, I have traveled through the other Scandanavian Countries: Sweden, Denmark & Finland. All of the countries have traditionally had small, highly-assimilated Jewish populations. The story of Denmark’s incredible national effort to protect Danish Jews is justly famous, and Finland under Mannerheim refused to “turn over” its small Jewish population to its German “allies” (yes, 1941-1944) for inevitable extermination. Norway acted with the same spirit regarding the Holocaust, although certainly not as successfully as the Danes.
Of course, one must take into account the different political situations that existed in each of the four countries during the War. Denmark- largely left self-governing through, at least, 1943; the Finns, Axis allies of expediency, who along w/Bulgarians (!) strongly asserted an element of independence from German policies; Norway, under an increasingly tough occupation (Quisling) gov’t, and which had a strong Resistance movement; and the Swedes- neutrals who had to step lightly (the Nazi Germany had a contingency plan for occupying Sweden, through I can’t see the Swedes having laid down against a German attack (like Belgium, Netherlands and, yes, Denmark. We’ll just call Luxembourg a “special case”!).
With the above as background, I was shocked at certain aspects of my recent trips to Scandanavia, as well as Europe in general. Antisemetism has always been the raison d’etre of the Catholic Church, so most countries under (historical) Papist sway have antisemetism in their “national DNA”. France, a land of Christian non-believers, but firm anti-semtes is a good example. But Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, etc. (oddly, not so much Italy) go from as bad to worse than France. Of course what makes France stand out is its incessant National myth of being the land of “Liberte, Equalte & Fraternite”. Eastern Europe, with the notable exception of Bulgaria during the Holocaust, continues to be a hotbed of Jew-hating. Based on its long-ago inclusion in NATO, one must also would also have to note the enormous increase in antisemetism in Turkey! With the above being said, the increase in Muslims, Arabs especially, but also Persians, Pakistanis, and Indian Muslims, has become ENORMOUS in the past 20-25 years.
This increase is having all sorts of affects, many having nothing [directly] to do with Jews . However, note: 1) The general Muslim enmity towards any democratic form of government (i.e., a Republic); 2) The general Muslim enmity towards freedom of religious belief (freedom of conscience, speech, right to assembly, etc.); 3) The disturbing Muslim enmity towards women’s rights, from abortion to honor killings to educational/professional opportunities; 4) The general Muslim antipathy towards education & the dissemination of accurate information of any kind; and, 5) The introduction (re-introduction?) into Present-Day Europe of not only severe antisemetism, but types of calumnious, “blood-based” anti-Jewish beliefs not present in Europe since 1945 (which itself drew on certain strains of European antisemitism penned the the latter half of the 19th Century.
On a personal basis, I can recall an incident I had with a retail shop owner in Stockholm just a few years ago. While speaking with the shop owner my wife & I gained the impression she might be Jewish, so we asked her. She acted very nervous until I showed her the Star of David (bought in Aruba, of all places!) I alway wear around my neck. She demonstrated a great sense of relief, and told us that unlike some ten years previous to our visit, it was no longer possible for an individual in her position to freely wear a similar Jewish pendant. The forces of Islam, meaning not just their population #’s, or their roughnecking and threats, but their educational system and especially ability to bend peoples’ opinions through business transactions (“we only want to do business with people who think as we do. People with whom we are comfortable”), represent a clear, present & ongoing danger to Norway, as well as those other areas of Europe which do not yet look like, e.g., Marseilles (now, virtually an Arab/ Muslim, Non-French city! ).
Maybe a referendum should be conducted amongst the Oceans’ whales on the righteousness of Norway? This is just as assinine a statement as linking the Mossad to 9/11. Or stating the Jews who lived in Palestine circa 1900 got along just ducky with the local Arabs., but then came the Zionists & screwed up paradise.
Statements linking, .e.g., the Ottomans to tolerance of Jews or Christians in conquered lands are misleading. By the 19th Century, in conjunction with the corruption and decline of the Ottoman Empire, that tolerance was long gone. I doubt whether less than a billion words have been written about Anders Breiveik but has anyone come remotely near the truth? I don’t think so.
Well, finally, here it is.
Breivik’s lawyer now says that he thinks Breivik is mad. I would go further. Not only is Breivik mad but he is utterly evil – and here’s why.
1. He is (or claims to be) a member of an extreme medieval religious cult (the Knights Templar).
2. He claims to be fighting against an invasion of his country by foreigners.
3. To fight this invasion he is prepared to kill women and children without mercy.
Clearly the man is evil and mad.
But hold it a second. The three points I have made about Breivik apply equally to the Palestinian terrorists who the Norwegians seem to support so enthusiastically. These terrorists are, after all, members of an extreme medieval religious cult (Islam), they claim (falsely – unlike Breivik, whose country actually is being invaded) to be fighting an invasion of their country (Palestine) by the Jews and they murder women and children indiscriminately, having launched, I believe, over 2000 random rocket attacks against Israeli civilians from Gaza before the Israelis’ patience finally wore out.
I even understand that the Norwegian ‘Sosialistisk Venstreparti’ party, who form part of the Norwegian government, have called for war to be declared on Israel if it invades Gaza, regardless of the provocation, so supportive are they of Palestinian terrorism.
So it is clear that, like Breivik, Palestinian terrorists are mad and evil and Norway should not support them. After all, Breivik merely thinks he is a member of some medieval religious cult whereas Muslims believe that their prophet ascended to heaven on a horse.

So my question is why, in the light of their support of terrorism, the Norwegian government has not given Anders Breivik a medal?
